Overview
FortiMonitor is Fortinet's SaaS-based digital experience and network performance monitoring platform. It combines infrastructure, network, application, and end-user monitoring with incident management, automation, and network configuration management.
Architecture
FortiMonitor can monitor on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments using SaaS-based analytics plus collectors, agents, integrations, and synthetic tests. Current documentation includes the FortiMonitor 100F as a hardware platform for the OnSight collector role.

Deployment & licensing
FortiMonitor supports subscription licensing for monitored devices/servers, containers, FortiGate/Security Fabric devices, LAN-edge devices, end-user monitoring, and DEM synthetic monitoring. The current Fortinet ordering guide documents Pro and Enterprise bundles plus separately purchased services and the FortiMonitor 100F hardware collector.
Use the current Ordering Guide and Data Sheet as the ordering authority. FortiMonitor licensing, retention, feature bundles, and SKUs can change between revisions.
Troubleshooting framework
